  • A one minute video. Talk to us. Tell us who you are, why this role, and what you would do in your first ninety days. Unscripted is welcome. Polished is welcome. What we are after is the cadence of your thinking.
  • A resume. Any format. Keep it concise. We care about the shape of your trajectory more than the brand of your prior employers.

Marketing & Outreach · Remote · Full time

Marketing and Outreach Lead

We are looking for a storyteller with the instincts of a journalist and the discipline of a product marketer. The work is to shape how PocoShift is perceived by traders, journalists, and the curious public who have never heard of us. You will steward our voice across channels, cultivate the partnerships that bring the right people to our door, and translate a technical product into language that resonates with the people it is built for. Distribution is half the battle, and we want someone who treats that with the seriousness it deserves.

What we look for

  • Demonstrable writing ability. A few links to prior work will tell us more than a resume can.
  • An instinct for what resonates on X, LinkedIn, Reddit, and the discourse-shaping corners of the internet.
  • Comfort moving between the quantitative side of growth (attribution, funnels, cohort analysis) and the qualitative art of brand.
  • A willingness to do the unglamorous work of cold outreach to publications, podcasters, and influencers who matter in fintech.

Support Virtual Assistant

You will be the first human voice many of our members ever encounter at PocoShift, which makes this a role of quiet consequence. People reach out when they are confused, frustrated, or worried about their money, and the tone of your reply will shape how they remember the company. We promise replies within four hours on weekdays, and we take that promise seriously. Lucidity, patience, and the discernment to know when a ticket warrants escalation are the qualities that distinguish a good support reply from a forgettable one.

What we look for

  • Fluency in written English and an unflappable temperament under pressure.
  • The judgement to know when a question has a one-line answer and when it deserves a longer, more thoughtful one.
  • Comfort with helpdesk software (Intercom, Zendesk, Front, or similar).
  • A working understanding of crypto rails (custody, networks, deposit addresses) is a meaningful advantage.

R&D, Quantitative Finance

Sit at the confluence of finance and machine learning. You will help refine the models that pick instruments, weigh portfolios, and stress-test the scenarios our managers navigate every trading day. The work is rigorous, the data is plentiful, and the autonomy is real. You will publish your findings internally, debate openly with the founding team, and ship code that actually moves capital. Intellectual honesty matters more than credentials in this seat, the market is an unsparing arbiter, and we want people who treat being wrong as a productive event rather than a personal setback.

What we look for

  • Strong Python, with depth in at least one of NumPy, PyTorch, JAX, or R.
  • A working command of statistics, econometrics, or applied probability.
  • A portfolio of prior work (notebooks, papers, side projects) that we can actually read. This speaks louder than any credential.
  • The intellectual humility to admit when a model is overfit and the rigor to fix it properly.

HR Assistant

People are simultaneously our most consequential asset and our largest line item, and a remote team across continents only works when somebody pays careful attention to the connective tissue between us. You will help us recruit thoughtfully, onboard warmly, and steward the small but growing roster of teammates across time zones, currencies, and contract types. The work is part operations, part empathy, and part quiet diplomacy. Confidentiality is non-negotiable; conscientiousness is paramount.

What we look for

  • An empathic disposition paired with meticulous follow through on the administrative side.
  • Familiarity with at least one payroll or contractor platform (Deel, Remote, Pilot, or similar).
  • The discretion to handle sensitive personnel information without slippage.
  • Comfort writing clearly, since most of your communication will live in writing across time zones.
